Love the Mudgee Visitors Information Centre. Friendly, knowledgeable local staff, plenty of information provided for tourists and casual visitors, souvenirs, and a lovely selection of the region's excellent produce as well as local artworks such as ceramics. Plenty of parking on the street outside, and a pleasant, light and welcoming environment. I'd actually score them 4.5 stars.

Great information centre with a lot of information (and local gifts). The staff was very kind, and incredibly helpful. The guy really took the time to answer our questions and gave us great tips. They have a booklet with detailed information about the food, wine, activities. Very helpful.
Super helpful lady and everything you need to know. Lots of yummy things to buy and in very pretty setting. If staying in Mudgee might be best to make this your first port of call
